Delete Your SwakVet Account

SwakVet users may request deletion of their account and associated personal data at any time. You can delete your account directly from the SwakVet app or submit a request using the instructions below.

Google Play Subscription Notice

Deleting your SwakVet account may not automatically cancel an active Google Play subscription. To avoid future charges, manage or cancel your subscription separately through Google Play.

Delete your account in the SwakVet app

  1. Open the SwakVet app and sign in.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Select “Delete My Account”.
  4. Review the deletion notice.
  5. Confirm the deletion request.

This action is permanent and cannot be undone. Deleting your account may remove your access to your clinic, reports, subscription information, and other associated app data. Please ensure you no longer need access to this data before confirming.

Request deletion without using the app

Users who cannot access the app may request account deletion by emailing:

support@swakvet.com

Subject line: SwakVet Account Deletion Request

Please include the following in your email:

  • Your registered email address
  • Your full name
  • Your clinic name
  • A brief statement requesting account deletion

SwakVet may request reasonable verification to confirm that the requester is the account owner before processing the deletion.

Data that may be deleted

Depending on the account and clinic structure, deletion may include:

  • User profile information
  • Login and authentication account
  • Clinic membership records
  • Saved preferences
  • AI usage records associated with the user
  • Veterinary reports and patient-related information where deletion is permitted and applicable

Shared clinic records — such as veterinary reports or patient data accessible by other authorised clinic users — may remain under the control of the clinic administrator or another authorised clinic user where required for operational, legal, security, billing, or record-integrity purposes. Deleting your individual user account does not automatically delete records that belong to or are shared with the clinic.

Data that may be retained

Certain information may be retained where reasonably necessary for:

  • Legal or regulatory obligations
  • Billing, tax, accounting, or transaction records
  • Fraud prevention and security
  • Resolving disputes
  • Enforcing agreements
  • Protecting the integrity of shared clinic records
  • Backup retention for a limited period

Retained information will only be kept for as long as reasonably necessary for the applicable purpose.

Processing time

Verified deletion requests will normally be processed within 30 days. Additional time may be required where permitted by applicable law or where the request involves shared clinic data.
